WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
Reporting to the Sr. AVP ESG Data Strategy and Management and working closely with Blackstone's Real Estate ESG team, you will be a key member of the team, responsible for supporting the collection, management and reporting of real estate ESG data for the North America region across Blackstone Real Estate's Portfolio Companies. You will work directly with a diverse range of stakeholders within Revantage, Blackstone and across the Portfolio Companies. This is an exciting role for an experienced ESG data professional.
Responsibilities
HOW YOU ADD VALUE

• Oversight and responsibility for ESG data collection and management processes to support performance tracking, reporting and disclosure requirements at asset, portfolio company, fund or firm level.
• Collect, review, aggregate and report ESG data for Blackstone's North American Real Estate portfolio companies.
• Work with a variety of internal departments across Revantage and Blackstone and manage relationships across the Blackstone Real Estate network of portfolio companies, operating partners and third-party service providers, acting as a central point of contact on data matters.
• Understand Blackstone's evolving data collection and reporting needs and support the development of existing processes, tools and templates as required.
• Develop and execute Quality Assurance/Quality Control processes to enhance the accuracy of ESG data.
• Respond to ad hoc information requests, ensuring that actionable ESG data is readily available to colleagues across Revantage and Blackstone, as required.
• Assist in the development of asset, company and/or fund-level reporting for internal or external purposes.
• Keep abreast of the evolving ESG landscape, including, changes to ESG reporting frameworks, standards and benchmarks and the impact of regulation on disclosure requirements.
• Manage client relationships and provide industry insight and experience in the domains of sustainability.
• Support communication to stakeholders as required.

Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance, or technology
• Strong technical background, with 3-5 years of experience working with real estate ESG data.
• Highly analytical, with excellent attention to detail and advanced data management skills (MS Excel).
• A passion for ESG and a good understanding of the key scientific, regulatory, and market developments related to ESG in the real estate sector.
• Familiarity with renowned ESG reporting frameworks, standards, and benchmarks.
• Familiarity with greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting methodologies and standards (e.g., GHG Protocol)
• Digitally proficient and able to quickly master new software systems, and a deep interest in the role that prop-tech solutions can play in improving data coverage. Knowledge of the ESG data vendor landscape a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with data visualisation software such as Tableau or Power BI would be beneficial while ability to code using widely used programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) would also be an advantage.
• Understanding of sustainability concepts and frameworks (e.g., GRESB, IPCC reports, TCFD, etc.)
