About the team:

Agile HORIZON EFT team. The primary focus of this role is to support required Payments integration efforts, with a particular emphasis on delivering features and functionality within HORIZON EFT team.

About the role:

As a RPG Software Engineer you could work with bleeding edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.

What you will be doing:• Designing, programming, debugging and modifying RPG software enhancements.

• Code programs using all forms of RPGLE including free form and embedded SQL RPGLE, CLLE, DDL and DDS.• Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.• Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.• Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams.

What you will need:• RPG Programming experience on a enterprise level

• Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards.• Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations.

Programming Languages

Proficient in: RPGLE, Free Format RPGLE, SQL, Imbedded SQL, COBOL, JCL, CL, DDS, DDL, BMS, CICS, JES, HTML, CSS

Familiar with C#, Java, Python, Java Script, Visual Basic, SQL+, Oracle PLSQL

Software:

- V7.4, Eclipse, Visual Studio, MicroFocus Enterprise Developer, MicroFocus Enterprise Server, Azure Devops, MDCMS, Turnover Change Management, Git, Team Foundation Server, all Microsoft Office applications including Visio, RDi, X Analysis, Hawkeye, VeraCode, Kenna

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $94,560.00 - $158,870.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
