BrightSign manufactures media players and provides free software and networking solutions for the commercial digital signage market worldwide, serving all vertical segments of the digital signage marketplace. BrightSign’s products are known for their signature reliability, affordability, ease-of-use, and market-leading technology.Â
We are looking for a highly-motivated Sales Manager to manage our sales in Germany and Eastern Europe and is responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and partners. You must be fluent in German and English.Â
As the Sales Manager, Germany and Eastern Europe, you should work to satisfy customer’s needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.Â
Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long term client and vendor relationships.Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Manage local distributors and present and demonstrate company solutions to Value Added Resellers, consultants, creative and marketing agencies and to large end-customers across Â
Germany and Eastern Europe.Â
- Manage a portfolio of accounts in the specified region to achieve long-term successÂ
- Work closely with company’s Content Management Systems (CMS) partners in order to close new opportunities in various market verticals (retail, corporate, education, Quick-Service-Restaurants, etc.)Â
- Promote the company’s products and services; addressing or predicting client’s objectivesÂ
- Drive entire sales cycle with large accounts, including arranging business meetings, giving presentations and client face-to-face meetingsÂ
- Develop positive relationships with clientsÂ
- Act as the point of contact and handle customer’s needsÂ
- Research and generate new business using existing and potential customer networks, social media, etc.Â
- Participate in trade shows and company related eventsÂ
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely mannerÂ
- Report on status of accounts and transactionsÂ
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectivesÂ
- Monitor sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)Â
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growthÂ
QualificationsÂ
- Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager or Sales Account ExecutiveÂ
- Minimum of 7 years of experienceÂ
- Experience in digital signage industryÂ
- Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experienceÂ
- Must be willing to travel as part of normal job dutiesÂ
- Knowledge of CRM software and MS office (MS Excel)Â
- Understanding of sales performance metricsÂ
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skillsÂ
- An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on timeÂ
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitudeÂ
- Outgoing, approachable personalityÂ

- Good understanding of all the actors of the digital signage industry (CMS Vendors, content providers, Value-Added-Resellers (VARs)Â
- Previous sales experience in AV / media / technology / Retail Fixtures is highly preferredÂ
