Job Summary

Job Purpose

The Salesforce Developer is a key contributor to this global CRM platform, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions that address Imerys' unique business needs. Working closely with product owners, administrators, and business stakeholders, the Salesforce Developer translates business requirements into robust, scalable solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. This role includes creating custom features using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce tools to enhance functionality, streamline processes, and ensure seamless integration with other systems, ultimately supporting Imerys’ vision for efficient, user-centered CRM solutions. ​

Responsibilities

  • Capture, design, and implement robust Salesforce platform solutions, particularly within the Manufacturing Cloud, using industry best practices

  • Develop custom applications and enhancements using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies

  • Lead technical design sessions, document solutions, and ensure alignment with client business objectives and Imerys’ strategic goals

  • Provide expert-level technical assistance, troubleshooting, and support for bug fixes, enhancements, and user issues related to the Salesforce platform

  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application design, development practices, and overall platform performance

  • Execute unit, performance, and user acceptance tests to ensure that developed solutions meet the highest quality standards

  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks and vulnerabilities through training and technical demonstrations for opp staff

  • Work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams, providing hands-on expertise and guidance on technical issues and solutions

  • Independently solve complex technical problems within the Salesforce platform, particularly related to the Manufacturing Cloud

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 3-5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with a focus on Lightning components for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

  • Fluent or native English speaker

  • Platform Developer I certification required. Additional certifications in Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud or Lightning are a plus

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform best practices, security model, and coding guidelines. Proficient in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Experience with Salesforce integration tools (e.g., REST, SOAP APIs)

Desirable

  • Experience of working on Agile project

  • Experience of working within a culturally diverse global company
