Job Description

• Design and define the technical architecture for complex Salesforce solutions while adhering to best practices and standards considering scalability, performance and security of the solutions
• Provides strategic vision and technical guidance for all Salesforce projects across the organization
• Mentors and develops the skills of the Salesforce technical team
• Designs and develops custom applications, functionality and integrations within the Salesforce platform
• Be committed to continuous learning and stay current with the latest developments in the Salesforce ecosystem
• Identify opportunities for improvement and design effective solutions that meet the needs of the organization
• Design and refine data models within Salesforce with performance and scalability in mind to support the extended needs of the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology (Master's and/or PhD an advantage)
• Relevant experience (+5 years) as a developer/architect on CRM products
• Skills in object-oriented programming languages (Java, Apex)
• Relevant experience with CRM specific data models (objects and relationships) as well as good knowledge of database design principles (such as normalization and indexing)
• Knowledge of Salesforce APIs, such as REST, SOAP and Bulk API, is crucial for integrating the platform with external systems
• Understanding of different integration models and middleware tools for creating robust and scalable integrations
• Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues that arise during development and deployment
• Relevant experience migrating data from other systems into CRM and designing interfaces for synchronization of data between IT systems.
