Your Role and Responsibilities
A Security Brand Partner Specialist (BPS) – Territory is an outside field sales role designed to provide industry-leading solutions that help our clients meet their security challenges manage advanced threats and ensure compliance and privacy for all aspects of cybersecurity. The role requires the candidate to continuously develop – personally and professionally – to stay at the forefront of industry trends and act as the trusted advisor for our clients. The Security BPS-T is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and selling IBM offerings through channel partners in IBMs partner ecosystem. The role is expected to establish develop maintain and manage relationships directly with clients & IBM Business Partners to meet sales target and ensure customer satisfaction consistent with company policy and objectives. The BPS-T is also responsible for creating organic growth in the defined territory by engaging with IBMers partner ecosystem and clients during the sales cycle. The role requires specialized prospecting skills tactical territory execution and ability to strategically map out engagement plans with all stakeholders. Additionally the role is required to be directly engaged with clients conducting presentations facilitating assessments and guiding clients and IBM partners through the buying process.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 7+ years of experiences of Software Sales Experience or related field.
• A self-starter motivated and driven person
• Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates an ability to establish customer relationships that don’t exist today.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills critical thinking and ability to work well within a team
• Ideal candidate should have a passion for Security Software technology client & partner engagement and driving revenue growth.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Sales experience proving exception ability to qualifying sales opportunities.
• Experience driving opportunities with the partner community mainly in growth and strategic accounts.
• Have skills or experiences in project management strategic communication Partner or Client insights
• Sales tooling (Saleforce ppt Excel etc)
• Proven track record of territory planning to manage activities with assigned partners (e.g. sales campaigns lead pass progression enablement and advocacy
• Focuses on Individual/Team/ Department Operational Objectives
• Ability to recognize problems related to project objectives. Creativity and judgment applied to
• Professional technical or operational problems. Independently generates solutions based on analytical skills & business knowledge. Challenge the validity of given procedures and processes to enhance and improve or develop complementary adjustments /solutions.
