Job Summary
Security and Safety is dedicated to providing quality leadership, services and solutions to safeguard people and the environment, secure and protect company information and assets and enhance operational efficiency. The department provides quality leadership, services and solutions to safeguard people and the environment, secure and protect company information and assets as well as enhance operational efficiency for the Corporation. You will be supporting the FSO in implementing the collateral security program.

What You'll Be Doing

• The Security Specialist will primarily support the SAP Security Programs at our contractor facility branch located at Colorado Springs, CO
• Initiate, review, and process personnel security clearances and periodic reinvestigation's (SF86s) through the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and the Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP).
• Prepare visit clearance requests, Common Access Card (CAC) and other Government badge requests. Will also facilitate access to the military installation, for visitors without military IDs.
• Perform Classified Document Control functions, and destruction
• Prepare for and participate in Security Vulnerability Assessments (SVAs) and Continuous Monitoring (CM) engagements.
• Conduct periodic self-inspections of security program in accordance with the NISPOM and company policies
• Conduct initial security awareness, foreign travel, annual refresher, and special security briefings.
• Support the CPSO and CSSO functions as needed
• Other Security/Safety duties as assigned.

What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:

• Level III - Typically, 4 years of experience in Security Administration for government classified programs
• Level IV -5 years of experience supporting government classified programs
• Active TS Clearance, with the ability to obtain SAP and SCI Access
• Typically, 4 years of experience in Security Administration for government classified programs
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Subject Matter Expert in NISPOM Implementation. Skilled in applying the following Collateral/SCI/SAP security disciplines: PERSEC, PHYSEC, INFOSEC.
• Strong working knowledge of DISS, e-QIP, NISS, and SWFT systems
• Expert knowledge with DoD 5205 series SAP Manuals
• Alarm Response is a requirement.

• Bachelors, degree from an accredited program in Security, Business, or other related field
• 5 years of experience supporting government classified programs
• SAP or SCI Security experience
• SharePoint management
• JADE experience
• Prior Unit Security Manager, CPSO, FSO, or CSSO experience
• Experience in Environmental Health and Safety
• CDSE SFPC Certification
• Experience using SIMS

Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
