Security - WAF Specialist

As a Security Consultant you will be a key advisor for IBM’s clients analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client’s organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities
• Research analyze and troubleshoot system’s compliance and security issues
• Interface with internal and external IT and business staff to ensure appropriate and accurate responses to queries and to improve the organization’s application security posture by enhancing WAF implementation
• Analyze compliance and technical control validation data to determine and report baseline variance
• Policy configuration for appliacations and APIs
• Change management and incident management for Im’perva Cloud WAF solution.
• Platforma Managemetn and Support (Tunning & Optimization support and escaltion)
• Security incident managemetn support

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 2+ years of Cyber & Information Security experience
• 1+ years of WAF experience (web application firewall) – ideally Imperva Cloud WAF Analista SOC
• Understanding of web apps web services and APIs architectures and security
• Understanding of web apps web services and APIs security vulnerabilities: Cross-site scripting cross-site request forgery SQL injection DoS attacks API attacks
• Network Security experience and skills
• Ability to work independently demonstrate technical knowledge
• Strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills in root cause analysis troubleshooting and problem solving

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Imperva Cloud Application Security Certification (ICAS)
• Network Security experience and skills
• Possess strong consultative skills
• Understanding of SSL certificates keys and PKI infrastructure
• Cloud Security experiences and skills
