Job Description

We’re looking for a highly motivated, self-starting sales professional who is super-charged about taking our groundbreaking technology products to the market. This is an exciting role in a hyper-growth unicorn that is transforming the automotive industry. You will be accountable for generating and maximizing sales revenue goals and increasing customer awareness within a defined territory. Key Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful, trusted relationships with dealer principals, department heads, and management 
  • Identify and qualify prospective dealer partners 
  • Utilize your technology and industry expertise to understand unique dealer needs and identify ways that Tekion can enhance their business performance 
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to sell Tekion’s suite of products and ensure customer adoption, success and rapid value achievement 
  • Meet and exceed sales goals 
  • Strong understanding of automotive DMS and Tekion products and the ability to articulate the value of our solutions. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision makers within client organizations. 
  • Customize presentations and proposals to align with client unique requirements. 
  • Lead end to end sales process form initial contact to contract negotiation and closure. 
  • Mentor members on Solutions team to assist in sales ideas, presentations, and general knowledge to help facilitate increased revenue.  
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, market conditions and share with solutions team as appropriate. 

Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of B2B or automotive software sales experience (DMS) with experience managing complex sales cycles and multi-million dollar contracts 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong business acumen and ability to be a brand ambassador for Tekion 
  • Strong dealer-reference base 
  • Team player who collaborates with internal stakeholders to maximize opportunities 
  • Phone & travel warrior mentality (50-75% travel - fly) 
  • A healthy curiosity and good taste

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $143,750. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position is also eligible for commission whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. In addition to the compensation listed, this position is eligible for equity compensation.
