Senior Accountant - Investments

Position: Financial Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Accountant

Role Description: Looking for a Senior Accountant to take responsibility of the following

• Execute the daily operations of the accounting department
  • Maintain the general ledger, recording cash receipts/ disbursements and other financial transactions
  • Reconcile bank activity, credit card accounts and intercompany accounts
  • Assist with preparation of month-end financial packages
  • Assist in streamlining processes and documenting policies and procedures
• Investments
  • Maintain activity and balances in investment management platform and compile reporting for performance reporting
  • Provide assistance with the investment process, preparing schedules and journal entries
  • Assist Investment team with review of capitalization tables, liquidation preferences, proceeds waterfalls and investor rights
  • Record and track SPV activity
• Assist with all family related matters, including:
  • Insurance
  • Household Payroll & Benefits
  • Trust & estate planning

General Qualifications:

• Prior experience and expertise in some combination of:
• Fund Accounting/Public Accounting
• Family Office
• Strong academic credentials, CPA not required but strongly recommended
• Strong Excel skills
• 2-3+ years’ experience
• Exceptional communications skills (oral and written)
• Meticulous documentation, record retention, organizational skills
• U.S. work authorization required. FT Partners will not sponsor applicants for work visas at application or in the future
• Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered
