Senior Android Engineer

We’re looking for someone to help to bring our platform to Android devices all around the world. Our ideal candidate is a curious pioneer in all things Android, well-versed in Kotlin and the Google software ecosystem. We value iteration, customer focus, and humility above all. We’d love for you to join our team.

What Your Day Could Consist Of:

• Lightweight agile ceremonies
• Ship features in our B2B products to tens of thousands of users
• Work autonomously and with designers to plan out new features and interactions
• Collaborate with developers across our organization to make our platform better
• Teach as much as you learn
• Pair with other Android and iOS Engineers
• Use Flow, Coroutines, and Jetpack Components to make our codebase better
• Architect applications and features to handle large data sets
• Find the best tool for the job in Android’s vast SDK

What Is Needed:

• Experience building and shipping applications in Kotlin on Android
• Experience as a mentor or an apprentice
• Curiosity to dive into the how and why of Kotlin, Android, and technology in general
• Familiarity with Kotlin Coroutines or RxJava a plus
• Familiarity with iOS Development or server-side Kotlin a plus
• Leadership on software testing, unidirectional architectural patterns, and state management
• An ownership mentality – the Mobile team is small and has a high level of agency
• Fluency in other programming languages and platforms is nice, but not required
• The desire to make make life better for our customers

This is an exciting time to join ActiveCampaign as we build out our new office in Poland. You will be a large part of developing our office culture in this new Krakow hub location.
