Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior SAP Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner working collaboratively with clients in Public Sector to deliver high-quality solutions and be a trusted business advisor with deep understanding of SAP Activate delivery methodology or equivalent and associated work products.

You will work on projects that assist clients in integrating strategy process technology and information to enhance effectiveness reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. There are opportunities for you to acquire new skills work across different disciplines take on new challenges and develop a comprehensive understanding of various industries.

For this role we will train you in becoming a solid SAP Defence and Security Industry Solution (SAP IS D&S) consultant in providing you with both business training and application training. You will be part of a global IBM community consisting of SAP IS D&S experts who you will frequently engage with to upskill you technical knowledge and to keep you current with the latest upgrades from SAP. Besides engagements in Norway we expect to offer you similar engagements abroad if you are interested in. If you already have an extensive experience in SAP IS D&S we will offer you a more senior consultant role with further managing responsibilities and opportunities for career growth.

You will be directly contributing to the safety and wellbeing of Norway and Norwegian citizins and NATO community by improving and expending the SAP footprint while taking the highest security standards for granted. Our client(s) has/have one of the most complex SAP environment in Norway with many modules implemented state of the art.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Strategic SAP Solution Focus: Working across technical design development and implementation of SAP solutions for simplicity amplification and maintainability that meet client needs.
• Comprehensive Solution Delivery: Involvement in strategy development and solution implementation leveraging your knowledge of SAP and working with the latest technologies.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Professional Expertise with SAP Configuration: Hands-on SAP configuration experience in SAP MM/SD or SAP Org Management with a minimum of one S/4HANA end-to-end implementation from project preparation to go-live as a Consultant.
• SAP Process knowledge: Experience with logistic or HR processes and workflows.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA: Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA demonstrating how it is applied in different client environments.
• SAP Certifications: Holder of SAP certifications.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Norwegian (Bokmål) and English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Familiarity with SAP Activate: Including knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Public Sector: experience with or interested in working within Public Sector.
• SAP migrations: experience with a brownfield SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration.
• Industry Knowledge: Foundation-level industry knowledge in one Aerospace&Defence Industry Defence or any other capital intensive Industry.
