Senior Copywriter

Rocket Money’s mission is to empower people to live their best financial lives. Rocket Money offers members a unique understanding of their finances and a suite of valuable services that save them time and money – ultimately giving them a leg up on their financial journey.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Copywriting, you’ll work closely with art directors, the video team, and media buyers to bring creativity and data-driven results to life. ✨ More specifically, you will be asked to:

• Create catchy, impactful scripts for social media ads (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube).
• Analyze performance data to fine-tune and optimize your content.
• Develop offline copy for TV, podcast ads, and out-of-home media (billboards, grocery carts).
• Write landing page copy that drives conversion as much as it attracts and engages visitors.
• Work closely across Rocket products—from Rocket Money to Rocket Mortgage®—to ensure messaging resonates with each unique audience.
• Bring fresh ideas to brainstorming sessions and collaborative efforts.
• Apply a compliance-focused lens to every piece of copy.

You’re passionate about crafting engaging, performance-driven copy that shines in both digital and traditional media. You’re a go-getter, independent enough that we can rely on your expertise to take a creative brief and run, but collaborative enough that your wins will be team wins, not just your own. Ideally you have the following:

• 5-8 years of experience in direct-response copywriting and user acquisition.
• Proven track record of high-performing copy across social media platforms.
• Proficiency in data analysis with the ability to transform insights into powerful copy.
• Collaborative mindset and a positive, uplifting attitude, that isn’t fueled by ego.
• Strong grasp of social media platforms and their content needs and trends.
• Ability to write concise, engaging copy for multiple formats.
• A creative and strategic vision.
• Storyteller at heart, with ability to craft clear and beautiful narratives that expertly inform as well as entertain.

Additional information: Salary range for $130,000 - $150,000/year + bonus + benefits. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
