Senior Data Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Software Engineer to join our remote team. You will play a pivotal role in developing innovative analytical solutions utilizing Big Data technologies.
Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, you will help understand their needs and guide critical decisions. Your contributions will have a significant impact on our organization's data-driven decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement innovative analytical solution using Data related technologies, applying new features in Cloud solutions
• Work with product and engineering teams to understand requirement and help drive decisions
• Perform analysis of business problems and technical environments and use this in implementation of quality technical solutions
• Participate in code review and test solutions to ensure it meets best practice specifications
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development with Big Data technologies
• Engineering experience and practice in Data Management, Data Storage, Data Visualization, Operation, Security
• Understanding of concepts of data ingestion pipelines, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes
• Experience with data modeling; development experience with modern Big Data components
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and best practices
• Knowledge of Containers and Resource Management systems: Docker, Kubernetes, Yarn
• Experience in direct customer communications and good communicational skills
• B2+ English level

• Familiarity with Orchestrator tools like Airflow and Databricks
• Experience with Snowflake
