We’re looking for a Senior DevOps (IaC) Engineer with 5+ years of experience in managing AWS, Azure, and Microsoft AD integrations. Expertise in Linux, EKS/Docker, and GitOps/CICD workflows is essential.

What will you do?

• Senior DevOps Engineer working with DevOps team in automation, Infrastructure as Code in AWS cloud environments. Primarily EKS with EC2 deployments with other supporting infrastructure.
• Assist in migrations from on-prem VMWare to AWS EKS / EC2 services.
• Implementation of DevOps tools and methodology, supporting the automation deployments of infrastructure, services and software more quickly and efficiently.
• Planning and implementation of security, backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Confirm compliance with defined internal service availability SLAs. Assists in failure analysis and proposing improvements to prevent or identify recurring issues.
• Partner and/or consult with in-house engineers and developers to promote creative solutions and improve operations.
• Keep internal networks operational (Load balancers, DNS, Domain Names, SSL Certificates, Client Operating stack, Active Directory, Linux / Windows Servers).
• Work collaboratively with operations and engineering on new system designs, process improvement, and resolution of complex technical problems.
• Perform backup, file replication, and script management for servers.
• Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications & equipment.
• Own problem resolution, facilitate discussions, and provide status updates during critical situation outages.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of Data Center infrastructure problems.
• Participate in problem management and root cause analysis.
• CI/CD Pipeline and Configuration Management Activities (Git, Salt, Jenkins, Rundeck, etc.)

We are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps Engineering with sound knowledge in IaC (Infrastructure as Code) and managing AWS, Azure, and Microsoft AD integrations.
• Proficient in EKS/Docker Administration & Orchestration
• Expert in Linux & Windows Administration (AD, Azure-AD, PowerShell scripting/automation)
• Proficiency in IaC/Scripting (Pulumi, TypeScript, Ansible, Git, Salt, Jenkins, Rundeck, Bash, PowerShell)
• Hands-on experience with Networking Concepts (WAF, ALB/NLB, routing, firewalling, proxying)
• Well versed with AWS Infrastructure (Multi-account, VPC management, cost management)
• Hands-on experience with Monitoring Tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix)
• Familiar with OWASP Top 10
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Additional Skills:

• Coding - TypeScript experience
• Designing, deploying EKS / EC2 maintenance plans
• Microsoft 365/Teams Administration.
• Security vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Rapid7, etc.)
• Configuring and administering open source products (email servers, logserver solutions, web portal systems, etc.)
• Presentation skills.
