Job Description

As the Sr. Director of Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in harnessing the power of data to drive our organization's strategic objectives. This position is centered around transforming data into actionable insights, ensuring that every decision made is informed, purposeful, and aligned with our goals.

You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive analytics strategy, with a particular focus on creating innovative data products tailored for clinical trials. Your leadership will be crucial in the establishment of a new analytics department, setting its direction, and ensuring its success.

Your prior experience in developing dashboards for marketing and operations will be a key asset, as will your familiarity with the latest analytics products, languages, and AI technologies. Beyond technical know-how, your role will demand a collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market needs.
  • Product Development: Oversee the development of the product, ensuring it meets quality, functionality, and user experience benchmarks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders, including customers, team members, and executives, to gather feedback and ensure product alignment with expectations.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer needs to inform product strategy and development.
  • Product Roadmap: Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on strategic alignment and ROI.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the product team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to launch and promote the product to the target market.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years experience in Data Analytics
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to formulate and communicate a compelling vision and strategy for the product.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills to guide the product team effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey product strategies and updates to diverse stakeholders.
  • Market Insight: Deep understanding of the market, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Decision Making: Ability to make informed decisions that align with the product and organizational strategy.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform product decisions and strategies.
  • Customer Focus: A strong focus on customer needs and experiences in developing and refining products.
