Job Description

As the Senior Director of Partners and Outsourcing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our company's partnership and outsourcing strategies. Reporting directly to the SVP, Professional Services, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships, managing outsourcing relationships, and driving operational excellence through collaboration with external entities. Your strategic thinking, leadership skills, and ability to build and maintain strong relationships will be critical in achieving our company's growth and efficiency goals. 

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Strategy: 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with the company's business objectives. 
  • Identify potential partners, evaluate partnership opportunities, and negotiate terms to establish mutually beneficial collaborations. 
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key partners, seeking opportunities for joint initiatives and strategic alignment. 

Outsourcing Management: 

  • Oversee outsourcing initiatives for the implementation team.  
  • Design and implement an outsourcing certification program. 
  • Manage overall utilization and CSAT of the program 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify outsourcing needs and select suitable partners/vendors. 
  • Monitor vendor performance, ensure contractual obligations are met, and manage escalations when necessary. 

Team Leadership: 

  • Set clear goals, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. 
  • Develop outsourcing team members' skills, enabling them to excel in their roles and contribute to the company's success. 

Strategic Planning: 

  • Work closely with the executive leadership team to align partnership and outsourcing strategies with overall business goals. 
  • Identify emerging market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry shifts to adjust strategies as needed. 

Cross-functional Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Sales, Implementation and Customer Success to ensure seamless integration of Tekion products. 
  • Liaise with legal and compliance teams to draft, review, and finalize partnership agreements and contracts. 

Performance Metrics and Reporting: 

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for partnerships and outsourcing efforts, regularly monitor progress, and provide performance reports to leadership. 
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures when necessary. 

Risk Management: 

  • Identify potential risks associated with partnerships and outsourcing relationships and develop mitigation strategies. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and data privacy standards.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred. 
  • Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in partnership development, outsourcing management, or related roles. 
  • Experience working in the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. 
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align partnership and outsourcing strategies with business objectives. 
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics. 
  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and vendor management. 
  • Proficiency in risk management and problem-solving. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 
  • Knowledge of relevant industry trends and best practices.

The salary range for this position is $185,700-$251,300. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position is also eligible for a bonus whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. In addition to the compensation listed, this position is eligible for equity compensation.
