Senior Drainage Design Engineer Team Lead

The Opportunity

Consor is seeking a Drainage Engineer team lead to join our growing Water Resources Team. Consor is one of the most respected and fastest growing engineering consulting firms in the western U.S. Our Transportation Hydraulics Department designs innovative drainage solutions for a variety of federal, state, and local governments in a positive team focused environment. A strong candidate for this role will lead the design of drainage infrastructure, manage design staff, and coordinate with multiple disciplinary teams on a variety of projects.

Salary range $107,800-122,300 yearly

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Design roadway systems including storm drain, pond design, culvert analysis and bridge hydraulic analysis.
• Prepare cost estimates, technical reports and memorandums.
• Engineering oversite during construction.
• Develop water models, floodplain maps, and GIS models.
• Coordinate work with other engineers and professionals in various engineering disciplines.

Required Credentials

• B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering with five to ten (5-10) years of experience.
• A Professional Engineers License or the ability to obtain one within 1 year
• Good technical writing, computer, communication and organization/planning skills.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with UDOT, SLCDPU, or Utah County.
• Experience and familiarity with the following programs and methodologies: MicroStation, InRoads, AutoCAD, Civil3D, ArcGIS, HEC-HMS and/or HEC-RAS.
