Meet the Team:
The Hardware-in-the-Loop Testing team provides the HiL Test Platforms as an essential building block of the verification and validation of the software for our automated trucks. The team is responsible to design, build and maintain the HiL test platforms, execute HiL tests and integrate our HiL test platforms into our existing simulation ecosystem.


What you’ll do:

  • Build and lead a team with diverse technical expertise (HiL test tools, software development and software testing, high-performance ECU hardware, functional safety)
  • Develop and empower the team as well as individuals to deliver best results
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers to design, build and maintain our HiL testing infrastructure and perform HiL testing
  • Foster the close collaboration of international teams including systems engineering, SW development and testing
  • Ensure high availability and usability of our HiL test platforms
  • Create transparent and sustainable resource and budget plans
  • Monitor new developments and keep our HiL test infrastructure up-to-date

 What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or related field and 10+ years’ experience with automotive hardware-in-the-loop testing for safety-critical products required OR a Master’s degree and 7+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience in complex technical projects
  • Expert knowledge on testing processes and tools for quality assurance and safety
  • Experience with AD/ADAS
  • Track record of delivering on safety-critical projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enabler mindset, thrives in a dynamic environment and inspires employees
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Willingness for occasional travel (mostly to the USA)

Hiring Range for Job Opening 

US Pay Range

$195,500$234,600 USD
