Senior Financial Analyst

OVERVIEW: 

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for working with finance leadership and cross-functional departments in the business. This role will focus on identifying and reporting financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results against plans and forecasts. This position will assist in improving financial status by monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do: 

• Forecast and budget various elements of the P&L, creating processes and models where necessary to improve quality of insight and speed
• Work cross-functionally to develop financial models for analysis
• Deliver insight and support decision-makers’ ability to drive change in the business
• Assist ongoing process improvement, both within Finance and with business partners
• Build deliverables that condense complex topics into actionable information that is communicated effectively to the business
• Learn under an experienced Finance leadership team with a diverse background
• Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) along with good sound interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
• Solid analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under supervision or guidance and meet deadlines

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, Data Analysis, or a related role

LOCATION: Needham, MA Hybrid (3 days a week in office)
