Senior Fullstack Developer (Golang)

Role Overview:

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining both frontend and backend components. You will work closely with product managers designers and other engineers to deliver high-quality secure and scalable solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of both frontend technologies like React and backend systems.

We are looking for candidates located in the EMEA region.

About You

An ideal candidate has 5+ years of Full-Stack Development experience and contributed to blockchain-related projects. We are looking for candidates who have worked on complex projects in a distributed team.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers designers and other developers to deliver high-quality projects on time.

• Writing clean efficient and maintainable code: Writing code that is easy to understand and modify is crucial.

• Debugging and testing: Ensuring that the frontend code is error-free and performs optimally through debugging tools and testing methodologies.

• Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies: The web development industry is constantly evolving and it is essential to stay current with the latest technologies trends and best practices.

• Documenting code and maintaining code repositories: To ensure that the development team can easily understand and modify the codebase it is crucial to document your code and maintain code repositories.

• Participating in code reviews: Code reviews help identify potential issues and ensure that the codebase meets quality standards. You should be prepared to participate in code reviews and provide feedback on other team members' code.

• Assisting with deployment: You may be involved in the deployment process which includes configuring web servers managing version control systems and resolving any issues that arise during deployment.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior developers promoting continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Skills:

• Excellent skills in modern Go. Other programming languages and platforms are nice to have (JavaScript/Typescript Rust Python or Java)

• Awareness of modern client- and server-side React applications

• Experienced in designing scalable APIs

• Experienced in testing backend and frontend

• Experienced in modern database design and interaction (SQL and/or NoSQL)

• Expertise in architecture principles design patterns and the ability to analyze and address trade-offs in business requirements system performance reliability and maintainability

• Experience in working closely with a DevOps team to design and deploy cloud-native infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability

Nice to have:

• Blockchain application experience (e.g. DeFi Protocols Wallets DEXs block explorers blockchain user-facing applications)

• Experience with smart contract development and interaction (e.g. Solidity Web3.js ethers.js)

• Small team leadership experience

• Financial Services and Markets understanding
