Position Summary: As an individual contributor, this role leads technical solutions within IT and externally and recommends IT process, product, or service improvements to upper management. Designs and implements self-healing, reliable, enterprise grade solutions. Contributes to the strategy and development of architecture and business systems integration and solves complex IT-related problems that have a broad impact on the business. Competence in server administration, directory services, network and security, SQL development, MES, PLM, and ERP is required.

Position Responsibilities:

• Architect permissions using directory service objects for applications, users, security administration, pool accounts and server administration. Windows server administration is a key area of expertise needed.
• Architect redundant self-healing network connectivity using UNC paths, event logging, and enunciation.
• Architect a scalable extensible data acquisition layer and connectivity dashboard with event logging and enunciation using various technologies, predominantly using MQTT message queue transaction broker.
• Architect syslog event manager to package and enunciate system health messages.
• Anticipate risks and challenges associated with regulatory policy and compliance for licensing and security.
• Architect NNM using Nagios for monitoring system resources, services, and connectivity with enunciation.
• Use ZF enterprise solutions for IPAM, MES, ERP, PLM and BI to deliver reliable business enabling solutions.
• Adopt and embrace ITIL change principles and drive compliance in the broad landscape of changes.
• Ensure traceability/quality data and systems data versioning is replicated, backed up and protected.
• Develop and integrate systems using SQL, C#, C++, VBA, etc. and various commercial applications.
• Work with Production IT to establish/install network topologies and architectures in IPAM and documents.
• Implement Production Firewall and/or IP NATing on various subnets and assign VLANs.
• Anticipate and communicate to project stakeholders regarding project status, risks, challenges, and changes.
• Required to work overtime and irregular shifts from time to time depending on project load.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 3-6+ years of directly related experience.
• Ability to multitask and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with OLE and/or Open Process Control (OPC) and systems automation.
• Solid Windows and Windows Server Administration and lifecycle knowledge.
• Network+ certified or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Must be a self-starter, dependable and team oriented.
• Must have strong organizational and planning skills.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
