The Senior Manager, Business & Sales Development is a key member of the Magic: The Gathering TCG Business Strategy team. In this role you will work with the Hasbro Commercial organization to identify new opportunities and new venues for growth for our flagship trading card game. You will be a leader in managing information on our financial progress and global product levels as we expand in to new regions and new channels of sale. You will work with product architects in the Magic studio to develop business cases for new products designed to aid that expansion. You will lead discussions with finance, operations, and commercial sales teams regarding that expansion, and present on progress toward our annual fiscal goals to the Magic Studio leadership.
What You'll Do:This role will play a key role in all aspects of our channel growth strategies:
- Work with the global Hasbro Commercial Organization to expand the distribution and reach of the Magic TCG.
- Work with our global operations team to oversee global inventory levels in order to track business trends and make informed decisions about future production.
- Support the Hasbro Commercial Team in the negotiation of sales terms with new accounts.
- With the Economics and Commercial teams, support the creation of a global forecast and budget for the Magic TCG.
- Be the authority on the status of the global Magic Business by working with our Finance team on weekly and monthly trends in the Magic TCG.
- With internal Studio Teams, track products and a product mix tailored to a specific channel designed to optimize that channel's impact on the overall Magic business.
- 5+ years of validated experience in leading and growing the revenue and audience of a consumer franchise, preferably in games
- Degree-level education with business, marketing or sales-related fields
- Creative problem solver comfortable with ground-breaking fast-growth strategies and innovative business models.
- Pragmatic self-starter and inspiring leader with a passion for execution.
- A strong agent for change, accustomed to accountability and driving improvement within teams, with examples to share outlining improved team dynamics and performance within diverse environments.
