Senior Manager, Construction Project Management

Responsabilités

Gestion

  • Fournit des conseils aux chefs de projets de construction et d'exploitation qui dirigent la rĂ©alisation des projets de construction et d'exploitation au jour le jour
  • Fixer des objectifs pour les membres de l'Ă©quipe immĂ©diate

Gestion de projet

  • GĂ©rer un ou plusieurs petits projets ou un seul projet de construction plus important
  • Montrer l'exemple en matière de sĂ©curitĂ©, de normes et de culture d'entreprise
  • GĂ©rer et contrĂ´ler l'avancement du projet, la qualitĂ© et le respect des rĂ©glementations en matière de construction
  • Veiller Ă  ce que les projets rĂ©pondent aux attentes de l'entreprise ou les dĂ©passent
  • Aperçu et gestion des registres des risques liĂ©s aux projets

Relations avec les fournisseurs

  • Diriger les fournisseurs externes pour chaque projet, y compris les entrepreneurs gĂ©nĂ©raux, les Ă©quipes de conception A&E, les agents de mise en service, les fournisseurs d'Ă©quipement, etc.
  • Contribuer Ă  l'Ă©tablissement et au maintien de relations de grande valeur

Programmes de formation

  • Participe Ă  l'identification et Ă  l'Ă©laboration des programmes de formation
  • Apporte son soutien Ă  la formation interfonctionnelle

Administration des contrats

  • GĂ©rer les procĂ©dures d'administration des contrats, y compris la crĂ©ation, l'examen et le suivi des contrats principaux, des contrats de sous-traitance, des ordres de modification, des prĂ©visions de coĂ»ts et d'autres documents pertinents
  • Assurer la liaison avec les autoritĂ©s locales et les agences et dĂ©partements de l'État concernĂ©s

Leadership

  • Diriger les membres internes et externes de l'Ă©quipe de projet, y compris les Ă©quipes internes de conception, d'approvisionnement, d'exploitation, de commerce et d'assistance informatique/rĂ©seau
  • Encadrer les membres juniors de l'Ă©quipe en fonction des besoins

Élaboration de politiques et de procédures

  • Gère le maintien des meilleures politiques et procĂ©dures
  • Gère les processus de clĂ´ture de projet, de transfert et de leçons tirĂ©es, qui sont Ă©tablis et mis en Ĺ“uvre

Qualifications

  • Licence ou Ă©quivalent en construction, gestion de projet de construction et/ou ingĂ©nierie des services ou expĂ©rience Ă©quivalente
  • ExpĂ©rience confirmĂ©e dans la gestion de projets et de constructions incluant des infrastructures critiques pour des centres de donnĂ©es, des laboratoires pharmaceutiques, des entreprises de biotechnologie ou des environnements similaires
  • CapacitĂ© et volontĂ© de voyager
  • ExpĂ©rience confirmĂ©e de la gestion de projets dans un environnement de construction
  • Orientation client
  • Motivation personnelle et flexibilitĂ©
  • Connaissance approfondie des rĂ©glementations lĂ©gales pertinentes et des meilleures pratiques du secteur
  • ExpĂ©rience des mĂ©thodologies de passation des marchĂ©s de construction

English Description:

Job Summary:

This position is within the Global Design and Construction team, delivering a multiple billion USD project portfolio each year. Directs day to day activities and operations of a large team of Construction/Operation Project Managers. Mentors junior team members and makes strong tactical decisions to resolve project issues. Manages Construction project costs, methods, and project team selection to meet project schedules and goals while working in a multi-faceted environment.

Responsibilities:

Management:

  • Provides guidance to Construction/Operations Project Managers who are driving the delivery to day-to-day Construction/Operations projects
  • Sets goals for immediate team members

Project Management:

  • Manages one or more smaller projects or single larger construction project
  • Lead by example on safety, standards, and culture
  • Manage and monitor project progress, quality and compliance with building regulations.
  • Ensuring projects are meeting or exceeding company expectations
  • Overview and management of project risk registers.

Vendor Relations:

  • Directs external vendors per project comprising general contractors, A&E design teams, commissioning agents, equipment suppliers etc.
  • Contributes to establishing and maintaining high value relationships

Training Programs:

  • Supports in identifying and developing training programs
  • Supports cross-functional training

Contract Administration:

  • Manages contract administration procedures including generation, review, and monitoring of prime contracts, subcontracts, change orders, cost forecasts, and other pertinent documents and documentation
  • Liaising with local authorities and relevant State agencies and departments.

Leadership:

  • Directs internal and external project team members including internal Design, Procurement, Operations, Commercial and IT/Network support teams
  • Mentors junior team members as needed

Policy & Procedure Development:

  • Manages maintaining best in class policies and procedures
  • Manages project closure, handover and lessons learnt processes are established and implemented.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in construction, construction project management and /or Services engineering or with equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in project and construction management that will include critical Infrastructure for Datacentre, Pharmaceutical, Bio-tech or similar environments
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Proven experience of project management in a construction environment
  • Customer focus
  • Self-motivated and flexible
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant statutory regulations and industry best practice
  • Experienced in Construction procurement methodologies
  • MS Office including MS Project, Excel and Visio skills
