Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases to ensure high availability and performance. 

• Perform database tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting. 

• Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures. 

• Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and patching. 

• Monitor database performance and proactively address issues. 

• Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies. 

• Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize SQL queries. 

• Manage Oracle Exadata environments, including configuration and maintenance. 

• Utilize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for database deployment and management. 

• Provide on-call support for production database environments. 

• Design and implement database architecture to meet business requirements. 

• Manage Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) for high availability and scalability. 

• Utilize Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery and data protection. 

• Implement Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage Management) for efficient storage management. 

• Use Oracle RMAN (Recovery Manager) for backup and recovery operations. 

• Leverage Oracle Enterprise Manager for comprehensive database management. 

• Implement Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data integration and replication. 

• Utilize Oracle Partitioning to enhance database performance and manageability. 

• Apply Oracle Advanced Security features to protect sensitive data. 

• Manage and optimize Oracle Autonomous Database environments. 

• Integrate and manage SQL Server databases alongside Oracle databases. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Oracle DBA. 

• Expertise in Oracle Database 12c/19c. 

• Strong experience with Oracle Exadata. 

• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). 

• Advanced SQL development skills. 

• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. 

• Knowledge of database security best practices. 

• Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies. 

• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, Enterprise Manager, GoldenGate, and Partitioning. 

• Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database. 

• Experience with SQL Server database management. 

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
