An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join the global Revenue Operations department, working within the Global Pricing Team.
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Pricing Strategy and Projects, with mentoring from the Director of Global Pricing, you will be a key member of the team and bring your analytical and data science skills to support the business in creating the global pricing strategy for World Courier's industry leading product and service lines. You will be responsible for consulting with all departments to help define the pricing strategy, undertake sensitivity analysis and develop pricing opportunity plans, investigate and evaluate pricing and strategies across all regions to take advantage of market opportunities to accelerate World Courier's growth
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with each Regional and Service line leader to design, develop and implement pricing strategies to deliver on World Courier's overall financial objectives.
• Market and economic benchmarking to provide a comprehensive view of World Courier's competitive pricing position and insight on the impact of pricing changes on profitability and growth rates
• Responsible for undertaking analysis to show profitability through optimising commercial levers. Develop pricing scenarios and proposals to ensure profitability analysis can be completed and review effectiveness of pricing and develop recommendations for pricing changes
• Tools & Best Practices; ensure World Courier have the best pricing tools in place to drive strategy, customer profitability and ease of execution across segment
• Working with cross functional teams to undertake ongoing and bespoke pricing opportunities

What your background should look like
Knowledge & Skills:

• A passion and drive to grow revenue through data modelling and pricing insights
• Experience providing pricing analysis and modelling to support contract/pricing differentiation and value-based selling.
• Experience devising and measuring the effectiveness of pricing strategies.
• A drive to solve problems in an analytical and data-driven way
• Experience partnering with Finance, Sales, Marketing and Data Analytics to drive pricing strategy

• Ability to think creatively about the customer and product implications of pricing recommendations
• Proven collaboration skills, with ability to lead teams and work cross functionally with senior executives to achieve goals
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex data in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.
• Strong creative skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of financial and economic modelling
• Experience developing strong analytics and reporting knowledge
