Your Role in Our Journey

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help us evolve how healthcare practitioners use Jane’s clinical tools. Jane has made it easy for over 50000 practitioners across multiple disciplines to find upload and use templates that make capturing patient information effortless and intuitive. Now we need someone who can take practitioner-created templates to the next step: simplifying the template creation & modification process and reimagining how we surface the right templates and tools to the right practitioners at the right time. With an eye on improving workflows accelerating onboarding and integrating AI you’ll help us support tens of thousands of healthcare professionals in becoming more effective and efficient in Jane.

As a Senior Product Manager you'll lead the evolution of Jane’s forms surveys and charting templates — one of the most critical and widely used features of our product. With over 50000 templates uploaded by healthcare practitioners globally the current system has served our community well. However as we move into 2025 it's time for a transformation. Your focus will be twofold: 1) simplifying the creation and management of forms surveys and charting templates and 2) improving template discoverability and streamlining workflows to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of practitioners. This role will have a direct impact on onboarding success helping new users get up and running quickly while also preparing Jane’s clinical system to integrate with our upcoming Clinical SDK and future innovations.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer pain points iterate on solutions and drive key product changes that impact the daily operations of thousands of healthcare professionals. By leveraging the power of AI you’ll help create a more intuitive and seamless experience ensuring that practitioners can easily find and use the templates that best fit their needs all while delivering tools that make charting more efficient and enjoyable.

The Impact You Could Have

  • Simplify practitioners’ workflows by transforming the central library of 50k+ chart templates into a resource that intelligently surfaces the most relevant templates and tools at the right time enhancing practitioners’ efficiency and effectiveness in delivering patient care

  • Accelerate onboarding success by simplifying template creation and management while also improving template discoverability enabling customers to set up and begin seeing patients quickly

  • Collaborate across teams to align efforts toward initiatives to support future product innovations such as our Clinical SDK Voice-to-Chart product and Medical Record team features

  • Drive customer-focused solutions by deeply understanding practitioners’ challenges and crafting tools that directly address their needs without compromise

  • Shape the future of Jane’s clinical functionality by working with an existing team and a newly formed team to deliver impactful changes to one of Jane’s most essential capabilities

The Experience We Feel We Need

  • 5+ years as a Product Manager with a track record of shipping impactful products with at least one 0 to 1 product in your past.

  • A strong focus and ability to learn

  • Ability to communicate effectively in every situation. You use your communication skills to motivate your team communicate with your manager and other Jane team members about what you’re working on and have the ability to build incredibly deep trust as a result

  • You’re able to work through challenges by working to get everyone rowing in the same direction

  • You’re able to inspire your team to do the best work of their careers

  • You’re able to deftly parse signal from noise when evaluating data & feedback

  • Healthcare experience + Onboarding/PLG experience

  • General understanding of the limitations and opportunities of using AI to power features

  • Bonus points: Experience working with AI to deliver value to customers and/or experience working on projects involving templatized data capture

Jane’s committed to paying our team members fairly clearly and above all paying for growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $117100 and maximum annual salary of $182900. As you may have noticed this salary range is quite large and this is intentional to account for the growth someone will experience in the role throughout their time at Jane (i.e. from building the skills to accomplished to highly proficient all the way to achieving excellence in the role). When hiring talented folks to join the Jane team we’ve found that new team members are best set up for success when hired with the expectation of being fully accomplished in the role which for this role would reflect a starting salary of $139000.

It's also possible to join Jane at a salary above or below this which would mean a salary below $139000 typically reflects someone who has all the potential to be fully accomplished in the role but doesn't yet possess all the skills required while a salary above $139000 is typically for individuals who are currently in this role at Jane and had the opportunity to make a significant positive impact on our customers product and company with deep Jane knowledge.
