Job Description

Purpose

Realize change (i.e. organizational, infrastructural and/or application, in- and outsourcing, bids) and manage all relevant knowledge areas, in line with PM book/ bid process and contribute to the formulation of the business case and establish a project planning, in a way that is compliant with customer (internal or external) requirements and leads to realization of projects (category A/B) in time, budget and in line with quality standards.

Key accountabilities

• Contribute to business cases and establish a project plan that includes planning, specifications, conditions, costs and project deliverables, arrange resourcing, organize project team in line with customer requirements.
• Monitor and control the project execution in line with the project plan.
• Identify and manage relevant project risks, in line with procedures and guidelines and in cooperation with the steering committee.
• Collect and analyze relevant project-information and provide reporting to customer and company management.
• Deliver project-results in line with internal and external customer requirements and project planning, ensure transfer to customer organization and evaluate project execution and results in cooperation with the sponsor.
• Define, plan, manage and coordinate assigned projects or processes, lead and coach team members and ensure execution and delivery, to ensure realization of deliverables.

This specific Project manager position includes the The Senior Operational Excellence Manager business role for Cloud Professional Services (CProServ). This role plays a crucial role in driving operational efficiency and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services across all cloud projects. This position is responsible for optimizing processes, resources, and methodologies to consistently deliver efficient and effective cloud-related services.

The Role include ensuring the deployment of qualified Project Managers (PMs), standardizing tools and methods, and enhancing the capabilities of the Project Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate will be an expert in cloud technologies, project management, and operational excellence, with a strong background in leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Certification

• At least one of : PMP, IPMA C or B or PRINCE2 Practitioner certificates

IT Technical Skills

• PM methodology; PMI preferred - Expert, proficient in using project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira)
• Knowledge of ICT - Advanced

Other criteria or requirements

• Willing to travel abroad;
• Leading larger projects of high complexity min. 5 years;
• ITIL knowledge;
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operational excellence and project management within the IT or Cloud Services industry.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing project management and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale cloud migration, implementation, or transformation projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a demonstrated ability to drive change and influence outcomes.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1700€ /brutto.
