Senior Security Engineer- Cloud Security

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer- Cloud Security. Sinclair Broadcast Group is one of the largest news, sports, and entertainment companies in the United States. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and recommend new products, maintain knowledge of emerging technologies, cloud security standards and regulations for application to the enterprise
• Lead initiatives to security solutions by specifying methodologies; implementation and calibration; preparing preventive, detective, and reactive security measures and support documentation as it relates to cloud
• Support and deploy Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP)
• Support and deploy Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
• Identifying, communicating, and mitigating security risks in hybrid/multi-cloud deployments
• Complete tasks for Information Security projects that align with Sinclair's organizational goals
• Discover, onboard, and improve administration of cloud security controls, security control policies applied to cloud resources
• Implement necessary enhancements/updates/upgrades to existing security products as they relate to cloud security
• Provide technical leadership and program roadmap for the entirety of the cloud security program to reduce risk to the organization
• Provide administrative support for the cloud program to internal business units
• Support the management of security incidents, requests/tasks and assign as needed
• Develop operational metrics related to the cloud program
• Perform other duties as necessary under assigned projects and Security team needs

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in multi cloud security controls, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• 5+ years' experience in security incident response capabilities pertaining to cloud
• 3+ years' experience in security operations in relation to managing, tuning, and deploying security tooling
• 3+ years' experience with network security
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Exposure with incident management systems and ticketing tools.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge and working experience with common IT Platforms: Windows, Linux, MS SQL, SAP, Directory Services, AWS, Azure, Salesforce, etc.
• Professional qualifications, such as SABSA, TOGAF, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GSE preferred
• Familiarity with FISMA, SAS-70, SSAE-16, PCI, SOX, Common Criteria, ITIL, COBIT, NIST, ISO 27000 series or other compliance regulations
