What We Are Looking For:

Blackpanda is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Social Media & Blog Specialist to join our marketing team in Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity writing and a passion for creating engaging content that drives awareness and generates leads.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Content Creation: Develop high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, and thought leadership pieces like whitepapers, on cybersecurity topics relevant to our target audience in Asia.
• Social Media Management: Manage and grow Blackpanda's social media presence across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn.
• Community Engagement: Foster a strong online community by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and participating in relevant discussions.
• Content Strategy: Develop and implement a social media content strategy that aligns with our overall marketing goals and target audience.
• Analytics: Track and analyze social media performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of our content and campaigns.
• SEO: Optimize content for search engines to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cybersecurity writing or content creation.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Ability to research and write on complex cybersecurity topics.
• Experience using social media management tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience working in the cybersecurity or technology industry is a must.
• Must have Solid B2B cybersecurity writing portfolio

What We Offer

• This is an in-country role; the candidate will have to be based in Metro Manila.
• 40 days paid leave per year inclusive of public holidays, which may be taken at the discretion of the employee subject to compliance with our Leave Policy and the approval of their manager.
