Job Duties

Research, design, and develop computer and network software. Analyze user needs and identify solutions. Design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and support applications and systems software. Establish functional requirements and review solutions to ensure organizational needs are met. Select and oversee implementation of one or more software development methodologies. Develop short and long-term product roadmaps to ensure continuous improvement of software. Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements,

development of user stories, and estimates. Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.

Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live withing reasonable commuting distance.

Job Requirements

Position requires a Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and experience in a related occupation (2 years with Master’s or 5 years of post-bachelor’s progressive experience with Bachelor’s).

Must include some experience in each of the following:

1) Object- and service-oriented application development.

2) RDBMS design and query.

3) Microsoft .NET development using C# and JAVA.

4) Web development using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

5) Working in Agile development environment.

6) Unit testing theory.

7) Source control management systems and CI/CD environments.

8) Debugging and performance profiling and optimization.
