About the Role!

As the Sr. Team Lead (STL) for the Process Excellence and Automations team at the APAC Center of Excellence (COE), you will be at the forefront of driving operational efficiency across the organization. Leading a team of program and process excellence specialists, business analysts, and developers, you will oversee the identification and implementation of process improvements and automation opportunities.

What the Candidate Will Do:

  1. Leadership & Team Management: You will manage a small but highly skilled team focused on delivering measurable impact. Your leadership will ensure alignment with overall business goals while fostering innovation and collaboration within the team.
  2. Process Reengineering & Automation: The primary focus will be on identifying processes across the APAC COE that can be streamlined, standardized, or automated. By partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, you will spearhead efforts to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention in processes.
  3. Strategic Goal: The team's mandate for the year is to realize $500K in benefits through process reengineering and automations. As STL, you will be responsible for driving this financial impact by ensuring timely execution of projects and maintaining a laser focus on cost savings and performance improvements.
  4. Project Ownership: You will be accountable for ensuring that automation initiatives deliver measurable ROI. This involves working closely with business analysts to assess the current state, developers to create automation solutions, and program specialists to ensure smooth execution and implementation.
  5. Metrics & Reporting: Regular tracking and reporting of KPIs will be key. You will oversee the development of dashboards and reports to track the financial and operational benefits realized from automation efforts, ensuring transparency and alignment with broader business objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Operations, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in process improvement, automation, or a related field.
  • At least 2+ years of experience managing teams, particularly in a process excellence or automation function.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in process mapping and optimization tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Working knowledge of automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, Blue Prism).
  • Basic understanding of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) principles and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).

Process Improvement Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with business process reengineering (BPR) and change management initiatives.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and interacting with senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent.
  • Certification in automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath).

Advanced Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, or Power BI.
  • Experience with API integrations and other automation enablers.

Experience:

  • Proven track record of driving large-scale automation initiatives with measurable ROI.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-regional team, particularly in APAC regions.

Leadership Qualities:

  • Strong ability to mentor and coach teams to deliver high-impact results.
  • Experience in managing programs with a significant financial impact, ideally exceeding $500K in benefits.

Strategic Thinking:

  • Ability to think strategically and align process improvements with larger business objectives.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments where change is constant.
