Summary of the Role:

We are looking for a talented Shopify Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Shopify e-commerce websites to meet client and company needs. This role demands technical expertise, creativity, and a strong understanding of user experience (UX) and interface design (UI).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Shopify themes and templates to create engaging and visually appealing online stores.
• Build and implement new Shopify features, functionalities, and third-party app integrations.
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and responsiveness across all devices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and project managers, to deliver seamless e-commerce solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and platform-related challenges.
• Ensure the security and stability of Shopify sites by maintaining best practices.

• Work closely with designers to ensure websites are user-friendly and aesthetically aligned with the client’s brand identity.
• Conduct user experience testing to refine website functionality and improve conversion rates.

• Implement API integrations for third-party services, payment gateways, and inventory systems.
• Develop custom Shopify apps and features as required.

• Set up and manage analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Shopify reporting dashboards.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve e-commerce performance based on data analysis.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working with Shopify or Shopify Plus.
• Proven track record of developing and launching successful Shopify stores.

• Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques for e-commerce.

• Experience with third-party app integrations and custom app development for Shopify.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
