Site Administrator /Assistant

Job Description Summary

GE Vernova is looking for a Site Administrator to join the new Singrobo-Ahouaty Hydro Power Plant, about 2 hours north-west of Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

As the Site administrator you will be responsible for providing administrative and logistic support to the maintenance manager and the GE Vernova maintenance team in accordance with contractual requirements, GE Vernova's processes and country regulations.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage a wide variety of administrative tasks and functions, supporting a team of 6 employees.
• Work closely with the the maintenance manager and provide necessary support to back-office functions (HR, Finance, Procurement, etc.).
• Set up and maintain folder structure and document templates, ensuring that an accurate and complete record of transactions and accounts is maintained.
• Support the issuing of requisitions, enquires, purchase orders and invoicing in line with GE Vernova's processes.
• Assist with reporting requirements, presentations and correspondence, as required.
• Support traveling arrangements and visitors coming to site, including work permits and visas.
• Support the maintenance manager in keeping record of the personnel training plan.

• Previous experience in a similar position.
• Relevant degree - an advantage.
• High level written and oral in French and English
• Advanced computer skills including expertise in MS Office
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in an environment of changing priorities.
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff
