Social Media Manager

As a licensed financial company with principal membership with card schemes, we specialize in global payments and providing businesses with multi-currency accounts. We are currently undergoing significant expansion and are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Marketing team. This role can be in one of our offices in Frankfurt, Limassol, Amsterdam, Vilnius, or London, it can also be remote anywhere in Europe.

This role is about:

As a Social Media Manager, you will be the driving force behind our social media presence, playing a key role in shaping and executing our social media strategy across various platforms. You will create and curate compelling content that engages our audience on Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with our marketing and business goals. By monitoring industry trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback, you will provide valuable insights and recommendations to enhance our social media performance.

You will:

• Develop, implement, and manage the social media strategy with the introduction of new channels
• Create and curate high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X and LinkedIn
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback
• Work with the Digital Marketing Manager towards an effective social media strategy that will also cater to the optimum performance of the channels
• Analyze and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall marketing and business goals
• Engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies surrounding the fintech world
• Coordinate with influencers and brand advocates to amplify our reach – in line with the PR strategy
• Support other marketing initiatives as needed such as Events and Employer branding activities
• Align and contribute to the content strategy with topics and ideas that would appeal to our social audience

What we need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in social media management or a similar role
• Knowledge in fintech or payments will be considered a plus
• B2B experience is a must
• Proven track record of creating engaging content and growing social media audiences
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hubspot)
• Familiarity with SEO and web traffic metrics
