GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY

The Software Developer will document, build, test, implement, and support software solutions using one or more programming languages in multiple environments, primarily using SAP software. The Software Developer will provide end-user support and software deliverables (bug fixes, enhancements, and project work) across multiple business areas with a focus on integration between systems. This will include participating in an on-call support rotation for batch managed processes. This individual will work independently on assignments but may require assistance or mentoring for complex projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Document, develop, and test software in the SAP PI & IS-Retail environments
  • Document, develop, and test software in other SAP and non-SAP technologies as required
  • Provide second tier end-user support as appropriate
  • On call rotations for support of 24/7 batch processes

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year college or university or equivalent certification or work experience in a relevant business or technical area, required.

Related Experience, Qualifications and/or Certifications:
  • 1 - 3 years' experience working as a software developer or equivalent role required
  • SAP software experience, preferred

Computer Skills / Special Equipment Knowledge:
  • SAP PI Development
  • SAP ABAP Development
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and SharePoint

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Individuals in this position generally work in an office environment that involves the use of office equipment, such as computers, copiers, telephones, and other office machinery/equipment. Individuals may experience occasional exposure to a retail sale and/or warehouse environment involving material moving and heavy equipment (e.g. forklift) where there may be some exposure to moderate noise, outdoor elements (heat and cold) and airborne particles.
