Job Description
Schneider Electric is looking for a Software Development Intern in Nashville, TN for Summer 2025. The Software Development Intern will be responsible for enabling rapid prototyping of initiatives for Schneider Electric. This role will join a team focused on utilizing data, AI, ML, and AR/VR to enable Quality, Productivity, and Capacity improvements across the business.
You will learn:
How to work collaboratively in an Agile based team.
- Revision Control Software (GIT)
- Jira
- How to develop accurate sprint estimates
Using Jupyter notebooks for data pipelining
The fundamentals of Electrical Equipment Distribution manufacturing

Responsibilities:.
- Create tools and solutions to enable rapid prototyping of innovative technologies.
- Adapt 3rd part solutions utilizing plugins
- Refactor existing tools and solutions to remain compatible with technology changes.
- Develop data pipelines to improve visibility to key metrics.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Proficiency in SQL, C#, Python, Revision Control Software (GIT)
- Strong understanding of engineering processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Currently enrolled in bachelors program for Computer Science, or a related field
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
