Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM® SPSS® Statistics is a powerful statistical software platform. It offers a user-friendly interface and a robust set of features that lets your organization quickly extract actionable insights from your data. Advanced statistical procedures help ensure high accuracy and quality decision making. All facets of the analytics lifecycle are included from data preparation and management to analysis and reporting. IBM® SPSS® Statistics is recognized leader on the market in statistics domain. It provides support for international enterprises for decades. With ongoing development of the SPSS Statistics product and platform IBM is looking for expansion of its development capabilities and establishing new development organization in Saudi Arabia. Currently IBM is looking for: Software Developer with UI frontend and backend experience In the Software Developer role you will be involved in building and implementing new functional enhancements to existing software product. Your goal will be to build efficient programs and systems that serve user needs. Responsibilities: Develop and support the enhancements in the existing solution Work with developers to design and implement algorithms Produce clean efficient code based on specifications. Integrate software components and third-party programs. Verify and deploy programs and systems. Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing software. Create technical documentation for reference and reporting Close collaboration with other delivery teams technical support teams and business stakeholders Work in a large complex Agile project to implement new or enhance existing power dispatch systems. Understand the technical requirements on statistical solution. Conduct code reviews and suggest improvements. Work with Business SMEs business analyst and solution architects on day-to-day basis. Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience. Get things done – think outside the box and find creative solutions to tough technical problems.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Robust experience of 1+ years in designing and developing Java/J2EE Applications
Experience of 1+ years in Microservices development
Have knowledge in React/UI Technology
Experience with database DB2Oracle.
Experience with Kubernetes Docker and terraform
Experience with GitHub.
Experience with both public and private cloud base application development.
Experience working in global Agile organizations.
Good verbal and written English with strong collaboration analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Java Swing JSON HTML XML Electron JavaScript React.js C/C++ UI Design and Development principles. Solid understanding of Software Design fundamentals Ability to adapt to changing priorities and challenges throughout the project development and successfully managing the customer expectations. Proven working experience in an agile software development environment. Good analytical and problem resolution skills Ability to communicate effectively in English language (both written and oral) Passion for delivering results in high quality standards. Approachable and flexible open trustworthy and innovative Passion to learn and continuously grow. Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent experience
