Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors. Develop secure and high-quality production code and reviews, and debug codes. Drive decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes. Drive technical designs and be part of a team of geographically distributed analysts and developers responsible for the program's software solutions engineering function. Participate, design and code the development function for the middleware services platform that supports external facing mobile/web applications, batch programs and databases. Work on all aspects of software engineering lifecycle concentrated with web development, solutions platform and databases.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Project Lead/Associate, Software Developer, Associate Projects, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; Apache Kafka or UM messaging ; J2EE; Jenkins; Spring; Hibernate; Java; JQuery; SQL; NO SQL (Cassandra, Marklogic) ; XML; Apache Tomcat; Bootstrap; REST; SOAP; Maven; JSON; AWS Cloud Services; Splunk; GIT; Cucumber; Junit; Unit Testing; White Box Testing.

Job Location: 880 Powder Mill Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
