What we're looking For

We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to work alongside a talented team of problem solvers and software developers in one of our development teams. Your degree must contain a high level of technical content preferably within engineering or computer science. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on complex software projects in an exciting and varied enterprise environment for industry leading customers.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Software Development Manager you will be working in a small, focused development teams. It is expected that you will acquire a broad understanding of our products, their domains, and their application. The successful candidate will have the confidence to express ideas as part of a creative software team; a genuine interest in technological trends; the ability to meet deadlines; the capability to think creatively about solutions to complex technical problems; and will be constantly striving to enhance the team's results and the quality of the software.

What you'll bring

• Knowledge of object-orientated software development
• An inquisitive and methodical approach with good attention to detail
• Strong analysis, design and problem-solving ability
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of software engineering principles and development processes
• A passion for creating high-quality software

A knowledge of any of the following would be desirable:

• 3D geometry
• 3D CAD systems
• C++ (preferred), C# or Python
