Software Engineer- Java/Spring Boot/IBM FileNet

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and IBM FileNet. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge and practical experience in designing, developing, and integrating FileNet solutions. This role will also involve creating seamless integrations, developing RESTful APIs, and ensuring efficient troubleshooting and system maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement FileNet security models, including marking, security proxy inheritance, and templates.

• Create and manage FileNet components such as event subscriptions, property templates, documents, and security objects.

• Develop and maintain purge policies for event data.

• Utilize IBM FileNet Content Platform Engine (CPE) Java API to build batch-based utilities.

• Configure and maintain IBM Content Navigator, including search template creation, plug-in interface implementation, document virtual viewer configuration, and desktop maintenance.

• Administer and utilize FileNet Deployment Manager (preferred).

• Integrate IBM FileNet with other systems and applications for seamless data exchange.

• Develop RESTful APIs to expose FileNet functionalities to external applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to FileNet and Spring Boot applications.

• Contribute to records management strategies and migration projects to IBM Cloud SaaS.

Education and Experience Required:

Minimum of an Associate’s degree and 5 years’ systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 5 years’ systems analysis/application development experience

Proven experience in Java/Spring Boot

Education and Experience Preferred:

Strong experience in IBM FileNet

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $93,581.10 - $155,968.51 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
