Software Engineering Senior Advisor- Hybrid

The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services, Inc. 

Requirements-

• Work with Data and Analytics Engineering (D&AE) team to devise software solutions that provide actionable insights to internal and external business partners and customers.

• Assist in design and build of strategic Next Generation client reporting application used for Reporting, Analytics, and Data Exploration.

• Partner with program leads, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts for initiatives that support strategic goals centered on affordability, growth, and retention of clients and quality of care.

• Articulate clear business objectives aligned to technical specifications and provide expert content on complex software engineering projects.

• Conceive, plan, and deliver initiatives, as well as continuously explore methods to improve existing processes.

• Part-time telecommuting permitted.

Qualifications-

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus five years of experience in software development/engineering or a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus three years of experience in software development/engineering. Must have experience with: COBOL and JCL; DB2; z/OS, TSO, ISPF, and SPUFI; SAS development, SAS analytics, and SAS statistics; SAS Procedures and SAS Macros; UNIX; Shell scripting; Back-end and front-end aspects of development process; Angular; HTML5; CSS3; Developing API back ends using Node.js and GraphQL.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
