Relevant du Chef national des ventes, le/la spécialiste thérapeutique a comme responsabilité de faire croître nos produits biosimilaires et d’atteindre les objectifs d’affaires et de ventes sur son territoire. Ces objectifs sont atteints en développant des partenariats efficaces avec les professionnels de la santé, les hôpitaux universitaires et communautaires, ainsi que les cliniques. Le/la spécialiste thérapeutique travaille en proche collaboration avec l’équipe interfonctionnelle sur sa géographie et est responsable de l’élaboration et de la mise en œuvre de plans tactiques de qualité. Il/elle aura également à sa charge l’expérience client, s’assurant que les besoins des professionnels de la santé et ceux patients sont surpassés.

Pour ce poste, il y a une préférence pour une personne basée à Calgary.

Responsabilités

  • RĂ©aliser les objectifs de ventes et d’affaires sur son territoire. Le spĂ©cialiste thĂ©rapeutique rĂ©alise ceci s’assurant que ces multiples interactions amènent de la valeur aux clients et en s’assurant que nos produits et services, ainsi que leur valeur, sont prĂ©sentĂ©s clairement et avec impact.

  • Avoir une grande maĂ®trise son territoire en comprenant pleinement son Ă©cosystème de soins, en identifiant proactivement les clients clĂ©s et en s’engageant dans la bonne combinaison d’activitĂ©s pour soutenir les marques attribuĂ©es, tout en assurant une approche axĂ©e sur le client.

  • Partager les responsabilitĂ©s de l’équipe gĂ©ographique et collaborer Ă©troitement pour dĂ©couvrir/maximiser les opportunitĂ©s commerciales, dĂ©velopper et mettre en Ĺ“uvre des plans d’actions interfonctionnelles, et fournir le meilleur accès Ă  nos marques. La capacitĂ© de travailler Ă  la fois dans un environnement d’équipe, ainsi qu’individuellement, est critique.

  • Travailler en partenariat avec l’équipe du siège social et servir de lien avec le terrain. ExĂ©cuter les stratĂ©gies et transmettre la rĂ©troaction des clients afin de faire les ajustements nĂ©cessaires.

  • DĂ©montrer une solide exĂ©cution au niveau de la gestion du territoire, en prenant des dĂ©cisions basĂ©es sur les donnĂ©es: comprĂ©hension approfondie du marchĂ© et des comptes, en tirant parti des diffĂ©rentes sources de donnĂ©es.

  • DĂ©montrer les normes de leadership d’Organon dans toutes les interactions avec les clients, les collègues et toutes les autres parties prenantes. Complète les tâches d’une manière entièrement conforme aux normes, politiques et procĂ©dures de l’entreprise, ainsi qu’aux lois et rĂ©glementations applicables.

Études, expérience et compétences requises

  • BaccalaurĂ©at en affaires, marketing, commerce, sciences ou domaine connexe.

  • ExpĂ©rience en vente pharmaceutique.

  • CapacitĂ© de s’engager dans des discussions reliĂ©es aux produit et sur la gestion des patient.e.s , en utilisant les donnĂ©es probantes, les attributs du produit, son expertise relative Ă  l'accès au marchĂ© et de soutien aux mĂ©decins, afin d’amener de la valeur ajoutĂ©e aux client.e.s.

  • FacilitĂ© d’établir et de dĂ©velopper des relations durables avec les clients et bâtir un rĂ©seau Ă  travers les intervenants et comptes importants.

  • DĂ©montre la capacitĂ© de penser de manière stratĂ©gique, critique et interfonctionnelle.

  • Haut niveau de compĂ©tence dans les techniques de vente, la gestion des objections

  • Excellentes compĂ©tences en communication verbale et Ă©crite, ainsi que compĂ©tences en prĂ©sentation.

  • CapacitĂ© Ă  apprendre rapidement et analyser, dĂ©velopper, exĂ©cuter et suivre un plan d’affaires territorial.

The Position

Biosimilars is a dynamic and growing segment in Canada. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Therapeutic Specialist is responsible to drive the uptake of our Biosimilars products and achieve the sales and business objectives on his/her territory. These objectives are achieved by effectively partnering with healthcare professionals, teaching and community hospitals, as well as clinics. The Therapeutic Specialist works closely with the field cross-functional team on his/her geography and is responsible for the development and implementation of high-quality tactical plans. He/she is also accountable for the customer experience, ensuring the needs of HCP’s and their patients on his/her territory are exceeded.

Responsibilities

  • Realize sales and business objectives on his/her territory. The Therapeutic Specialist does this by conducting a high level of valuable customer engagements and making sure our products & services, as well as the value they bring, are clearly and impactfully represented. 

  • Demonstrate ownership of the assigned territory by fully understanding its health care ecosystem, proactively identifying key customers, and engaging in the right mix of activities to support assigned brands, while ensuring a customer-focused approach.

  • Share geographical team responsibilities and collaborate closely to uncover/maximize business opportunities, develop and implement cross-functional action plan, and provide the best access to our brands. The ability to work in both a team environment, as well as individually, is critical.

  • Work in partnership with the head office team and act as a link on the field. Execute strategies and transmit key customer insights to make required adjustments.

  • Demonstrate strong territory management execution based on data-driven decisions: thorough understanding of the market and the accounts, while leveraging the various sources of data.

  • Demonstrate Organon’s Leadership Standards in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and all other stakeholders. Complete tasks in a manner fully consistent with company standards, policies, and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Commerce, Science or related field.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales.

  • Ability to engage in patient management and product related discussions, using evidence, product attributes, market access and physician support expertise, providing value to customers.

  • Able to rapidly develop durable customer relationships and build stakeholder networks across key accounts.

  • Demonstrates the ability to think strategically, critically and collaborate cross-functionally.

  • High level of proficiency in selling skills, management of objections.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills.

  • Ability to rapidly learn and analyze, develop, execute, track a territory business plan.

  • Ability to succeed in a competitive, dynamic, and fast-paced market space.

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and growth mindset.

  • A proven track record of performance excellence in meeting targets and objectives.

  • Good business acumen.

  • Experience in specialty medicine, particularly in gastroenterology or rheumatology, is a strong asset.

  • Knowledge / experience in the Biosimilars/Biologic therapies market is a strong asset.

  • Good understanding of Patient Support Programs and their role in the patient journey, is an asset.

  • A spotless record of ethics and compliance to all industry rules and regulations.

  • Proficiency in Office technology and territory management tools.

  • Travel required on territory (>50%), and occasionally nationally-internationally.

  • Valid driver’s license
