Position Summary:

Horizon is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join its Information Technology team as a Senior Manager, Meeting Technologies. This role has responsibility for audio/visual systems, operations, and strategy at all Horizon offices. The role closely coordinates with the service delivery team, the infrastructure team, and various third parties to ensure optimal performance and quality of AV systems and meeting technology end user experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and deliver the best customer experience for meetings and trainings in Horizon facilities and for remote participants.
  • Serves as the lead of AV systems and services for Horizon globally, including conference room technology, integration with conferencing solutions (Webex, Zoom, etc.), and coordination of various internal and external teams to deliver optimal AV solutions.
  • Collaborate with corporate partners including Meetings and Events and Facilities Operations to support large and complex events both locally and for remote broadcast to other sites and individuals.
  • Ensure effective and reliable operations for technology in meeting rooms across the enterprise.
  • Provide oversight and management to an outsourced AV support team for incident resolution, service requests, and change management.
  • Collaborate with corporate operations departments for new project/site buildouts, changes, and physical conference room issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to coordinate network, infrastructure, and other systems issues, including handling escalation requests from AV support teams for complex issues.
  • Develop a strategy and roadmap for Horizon conference and meeting room technologies in collaboration cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Create and update AV room guides for end user instruction.
  • Deliver periodic trainings to Horizon end users on AV system usage.
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance routines.
  • Interact with all levels of Company staff, including the executive team.


Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • 5+ years of progressive IT or AV experience
  • 3+ years supporting and running conference audio-visual solutions
  • 3+ years supporting an enterprise infrastructure
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and technologies
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication
