Sr QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work directly with our development team and product managers.
• Create automated API tests in Datadog.
• Create UI tests in Datadog (point and click)
• Manage the testing process from planning to production release, with guidance and assistant from the QA Lead.
• Execute automated testing on mobile devices with Browserstack (plus)
• Documenting test cases, test results, and metrics as needed.

Qualification

Exclusive Requirements:

• Minimum experience of 5 years developing as a testing analyst or QA automation.
• Minimum experience of 2 years automating tests using tools like Selenium Webdriver, RestAssured, or PlayWright.
• Experience in testing web applications.
• Programming knowledge (preferably Java, Kotlin, or Javascript).
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Proficiency in SQL databases (preferably MySql).
• Version control repository (GIT) management.
• Experience with cloud-native services (GCP/AWS).
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environment.
• Advanced Level of English.
• Bring a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement.
• Desire to learn new technologies/languages.
• Experience automating API tests with tools like Postman and Datadog.

Bonus Points

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
• Developer background.
• Performance Testing with tools like JMeter o Datadog.
• Experience automating UI with recording tools (aka. point and click).
• Monitoring and analyzing data with tools like Datadog and Giraffe.
• 1+ years of experience testing iOS and Android native apps with tools like Browserstack/Lambdatest.
• QA Methodologies.
• Continuous integration processes (Jenkins, Git Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Mobile application testing.
• Appium tool for mobile application automation.
• Agile methodologies (SCRUM, XP).
