Provide leadership and development supervision to Accounting Managers/Senior Accounting Managers/ Controllers and their direct reports. Support Regional Leads and above to assist in departmental goals and projects. Lead teams to provide quality results in monthly reporting and accounting functions, while promoting continuity and excellence in service to clients.
Job Description

• Coach, guide and mentor the department by being a resource of expertise and leadership
• Lead, sponsor, and contribute to department level projects and initiatives
• Prepare and lead group meetings and presentations impacting multiple teams and/or departments
• Work with City Leads on business development; pricing new business and preparing proposal responses, focusing on profitability
• Lead teams to strive for optimal performance in financial reporting, customer service and client satisfaction; setting and achieving goals
• Work with teams to monitor and focus on profitability at assigned market and client levels; Make improvement recommendations as needed
• Accountable for leading multiple markets, strategic and/or key client(s); Establish sound strategies and methods to ensure timely and effective communication and build relationships with senior leaders, clients, and internal and external stakeholders
• Develop, implement and review new departmental policies and procedures to increase departmental efficiency
• Ensure business continuity protocols are in place to safeguard information and business processes
• Develop direct reports through goal setting, conducting mid-year and year-end performance reviews and delivering timely and meaningful performance feedback, while maintaining quality results and performance
• Ensure technology solutions are efficient and aligned with needs
• Performs other related duties as required or requested.
