What we are looking for:

A Senior DevOps Engineer who can:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable deployments.
• Architect and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure in both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Develop and maintain Kubernetes-based solutions, with expertise in EKS on AWS.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Harness, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Implement monitoring and observability solutions with Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK Stack.
• Manage AWS infrastructure, leveraging services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and IAM.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.

1. Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
• Guide team members on best practices in Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure.
• Act as a technical advisor to cross-functional teams, promoting DevOps methodologies and fostering innovation.

1. Project Ownership

• Take end-to-end ownership of DevOps projects, from planning and inception to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure alignment with organizational goals and deliver high-quality solutions.

1. Continuous Improvement

• Drive automation and efficiency improvements in infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance system performance, scalability, and security.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for infrastructure reliability, deployment success, and system uptime.

1. Collaboration

• Work with development teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices into the software lifecycle.
• Partner with security teams to implement and enforce cloud security best practices.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years in DevOps and infrastructure management.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS.

Technical Skills

• Kubernetes: Expert-level knowledge, including experience managing production workloads on EKS.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Proven expertise in tools like Harness, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Monitoring & Observability: Strong knowledge of tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK Stack.
• Automation: Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Scripting: Advanced skills in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Networking & Security: Solid understanding of cloud networking principles and security best practices.

Leadership Skills

• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, driving collaboration and skill development.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and promoting a DevOps culture.

Problem-Solving

• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex infrastructure and application issues.

Communication

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
