Sr. Marketing Project Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Sr. Project Marketing Manager to support our work with our pharmaceutical client.
As a Sr. Marketing Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of projects for our client in the pharmaceutical sector. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and with the highest level of quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
The Sr. Marketing Project Manager enthusiastically manages the implementation and day-to-day project management process for assigned marketing projects with our pharma client. The ability to produce and track successful personalized action plans for the client to execute goals is imperative. Championing planning and allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle, as well as building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with internal stakeholders/team members are key responsibilities of this role.
Our ideal candidate should be passionate about developing project plans and tracking the progress toward successful delivery to our client. You'll work with team members across our service lines, including Strategic, Creative, and Interactive.
Responsibilities
As a Sr. Marketing Project Manager, you will:
- Project Planning and Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Execute project plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
- Lead milestones and tasks of all projects (via project management tools such as Asana, Wrike, Scope Deliver, CAP, etc), including production resource allocations, capacity constraints, and efficiency improvements.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a central point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues
- Facilitate effective communication between team members, management, and other stakeholders
- Risk Management
- Identify potential risks and issues impacting project delivery and develop mitigation strategies
- Proactively address and resolve challenges to ensure project success.
- Quality Assurance
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality project outcomes on a consistent and timely basis
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Budget Management
- Work closely with the team to manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met
- Manage expectations.
- You understand the importance of under-promising and over-delivering. And you're great at helping our team achieve the client's goals without sacrificing their sleeping and eating habits
What you'll need
- Preferred 5+ years of related experience in a project management or marketing role
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications or related field
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Daily management of assigned projects, including meetings, presentations, project tracking, task assignment, and hours or billing reports
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proven planning and organizational skills
- Exhibit understanding of the healthcare environment, the pharmaceutical industry, and marketplace
Additional Preferences
- Proven ability to work proactively to address customer and overall business needs
- Deep understanding of HCP-focused content platforms (e.g., Medscape, Doximity, Epocrates) and experience planning campaigns that leverage related service offerings
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time
- Product Launch experience
- Experience with promotional approval systems (e.g., Veeva Vault Promo Mats)
- Able to influence, collaborate, and work effectively on a team
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Skilled at analysis, judgment, and decision-making, with an eye toward quality and continuous improvement
