Job Description

Nomad Health is the first digital marketplace for healthcare jobs, efficiently connecting quality clinicians with rewarding career opportunities. Forbes recognized Nomad as one of the “Best Startup Employers”, Newsweek included Nomad on its "Most Loved Workplaces" list and Built In NYC named Nomad one of the “Best Mid-Sized Companies To Work For.” Our technology takes the busywork out of finding clinical work. We are a well-funded Series D startup backed by First Round Capital, RRE Ventures, 406 Ventures, Polaris Partners, Icon Ventures, Adams Street Partners, and Kevin Ryan (founder of MongoDB, Zola, Gilt, and DoubleClick).

The U.S. healthcare system is experiencing a staffing crisis. Employers spend $20 billion per year recruiting clinicians to care for the rapidly aging U.S. population. Nomad replaces antiquated staffing agencies with modern technology to efficiently source, qualify, and hire medical talent on demand. Clinicians find better jobs with higher pay. Employers fill roles faster with higher quality care.  Nomad is a fast growing team of technologists, creators, and industry experts passionate about modernizing healthcare staffing so clinicians can get back to the work they do best: caring for others.

Position Summary

JobRobotix, a subsidiary of Nomad Health, is a leading provider of middleware software for the staffing industry. Our hallmark product, JobSource, enables staffing agencies to quickly and easily ingest job orders from hundreds of vendor management systems to the agency’s applicant tracking system (ATS). The JobRobotix product suite also gives agencies the power to clean job data before reaching their ATS, so our agency customers spend less time on manual data entry and more time filling job orders.

As Sr. Product Manager of JobRobotix, you will be a partner to JobRobotix’s General Manager and cofounders in developing the product vision and go-to-market strategy, as well as leading the execution of product development. The JobRobotix product suite is critical business software for our customers and involves tight API integrations with a partner ecosystem, as well as robust scraping technology. At JobRobotix, you will have the opportunity to build new products from scratch and scale them to become a significant part of JobRobotix’s success.

Responsibilities/What You Will Do

  • Partner closely with client services and engineering to proactively identify and address any and all friction that stands between users and their workflows
  • Leverage deep, proven technical expertise to work closely with your engineering partners and drive business requirements all the way down to service definition and data model creation
  • Go broad and deep into the platform architecture, partnering with the engineering team on delivering highly scalable and resilient solutions
  • Combine internal user expertise, deep data analysis and business requirements to create and validate hypotheses which enable both user and business value
  • Drive agile planning, execution processes, backlog management and work prioritization; identify and drive improvements to the software development lifecycle and standard methodologies in agile engineering
  • Effectively translate requirements into a plan that brings engineering along and excites them about the potential we see in front of us
  • Execute from vision to strategy to epics to user stories; you are the key to converting aspiration into value

Qualifications/ Skills - What You Will Need

  • Experience working in an early stage startup environment, as well as a strong bias for action and the ability to work autonomously
  • Experience working at a product-led growth SaaS company
  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Management role, working directly with engineering and design to build software products
  • Proven experience defining and delivering software and platforms for B2B or internal operations, such as HR technology, recruiting and applicant tracking systems, customer relationship management, labor marketplaces, project or document management
  • Technical background with a technical degree or experience; experience with API integrations required; preferred experience with Microsoft technology stack (e.g., Azure)
  • Experience working in Agile environments, particularly scrum
  • Ability to conduct user research and competitive analysis, as well as synthesize user needs into product priorities and specifications
