Compensation
The compensation target range for this role is:
$123,300 - $145,000
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with substantial experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) to lead the execution of complex, high-impact projects for our grid-technology products. Reporting directly to the VP of Innovations, this role focuses on planning, resource management, and risk mitigation as we bring new products to life.
This position is responsible for ensuring that projects, particularly those involving NPI, are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The Sr. Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Development, Engineering, Operations, Sourcing, and Marketing.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a proven track record in project management within the retail or consumer goods sectors.
Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution
-
Lead the end-to-end project management process for new product development and existing product enhancements, with a particular emphasis on NPI projects.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, task assignments, and risk management strategies.

Monitor project progress, communicating regularly with teams and leadership, and ensuring timely execution of tasks. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery and quality outcomes.

Cross-functional Integration

Coordinate cross-functional teams (Product, Development, Quality, Engineering, Marketing) to ensure alignment with project timelines and milestones from concept development through manufacturing and market introduction.

Translate Product Management's new product objectives and launch targets into executable timelines and tasks, especially in NPI-related projects.

Work closely with quality and regulatory compliance teams to align timelines and plans.

Collaborate with sourcing, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure launch readiness, inventory allocation, and adherence to RTS (ready to ship) dates.

Partner with marketing teams to integrate go-to-market strategies into achievable timelines.

Operational Excellence

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall project delivery.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track project progress, with specific attention to NPI projects.

Prepare regular status reports for senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable insights.
Required Skills, Education, Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Significant experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) is required.

Strong understanding of omni-channel retail operations, including e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and brick-and-mortar retail strategies.

Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, preferably in consumer goods, technology, or related industries.

Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, with a focus on both NPI and existing product enhancements.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to project planning and execution.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
